A new update and you can't login? What now? Maybe this basic step by step guide is of some help. You don't need to read it all, just skip the steps that are working fine for you. Please try these steps. If they don't work, feel free to contact our Teach Team members through email, msn, forum pm or forum post!
a) Which client should I use? All new players are advised to download the global client here http://luminary.ndoorsgames.com/center/guide/howstart_install.asp. Don't download the Ijji game client, because you can't create Ijji accounts for Luminary anymore. The global client can access all servers and gives less trouble than the ijji one. If you have an Ijji account already, you should use the ijji game client. You can NOT access your ijji account through the global client. Game won't do anything or give an error. Ijji client is downloadable here: http://www2.ijji.com/downloads.nhn.
b) I have a client but it asks me to download a newer version. You probably downloaded or saved a very old client. Try downloading the newest client from the links above.
a) See if your game is patched properly. You can find the version number of the patch at the right top corner of the patch screen: v.xxx. The patch number should match with the number of the latest update. If you don't have the latest patch, game might give an error with "game version aaa and server version bbb." If your client doesn't have the latest version number you need to (manually) patch your client to match the server number.
My client number does NOT match the server number: go to 2b.

b) See if the game patches automatically (the yellow bar is loading). This might take a while. If it doesn't load automatically, check if your internet connection is stable and working. Also check if your firewall isn't blocking the download. If your firewall is blocking it, add Luminary and it's downloads to the permitted programs and processes. Stable connection, no firewall block and still no auto-patch? Try the instructions on http://www.opendns.com/. After you followed the instructions, reboot your computer and try to start the game again.
Game still doesn't auto-patch: go to 2c
Game auto-patched, but I still can't login: go to 3 (ijji) or 4 (all)
I'm trying to manually patch but I'm encountering problems: go to 2d

d) If you're Ijji user and game gives an error when you're trying to install the patch: try the ENG patches, those sometimes work for the Ijji client too. If you're Ijji user and you installed all patches, but game doesn't work or gives errors with names of game files: try installing the patches again. Sometimes the first round of patching doesn't work properly.

4. OK BUTTON ISSUES
a) My OK button won't light up. Check your patch version and (manually) patch if needed (see 2). No result? Check your internet connection and firewall as described in 2b. Restart game if necessary. If the OK button is still dark: find the Luminary folder on your computer and look for an icon called GoonZu.exe. There are 2 icons with the name GoonZu, 1 is a picture and the other is the one you need. Double-click the icon and let the game load. If that doesn't work, try the normal login procedure again.
GoonZu.exe doesn't work and OK button is still dark: go to 4b
OK button lights up now, but still can't login: go to 5
The OK button is working now, but still can't login: go to 5
5. ERRORS WHILE LOADING GAME
a) Check your patch version and (manually) patch if needed. Also check your internet connection, system requirements and firewall (see 2).
Game loads properly now, but still can't login: go to 6
Game still gives errors while loading: go to 5b
b) Game gives errors with game file names (for example notext). Probably your patch didn't install properly: there are files missing or broken. Try re-patching your client. If that doesn't work, try to get the files mentioned in the errors from fellow users and place them in the right folders. Then try to run the game again (sometimes need to reboot your computer to make it work properly).
Game loads properly, but still can't login: go to 6
I did everything in 5b, but game still gives error called "no setup file": go to 5c
I can login now, but I'm having problems with the servers: go to 7.
I can login other accounts, but not this one: contact a GM through the support system https://support.ndoorsgames.com/Main/Default.aspx, forum or whisper them in game.
I can't login any account after a few hours/days, my account info disappears and nothing happens. GoonZu.exe doesn't work either: go to 6d
7. PROBLEMS WITH SERVERS
a) Servers aren't showing up. Check your internet connection and wait a while. It might take some time to load. If still no show, try the GoonZu.exe procedure as described in 4a. If that doesn't work, use the normal login procedure again. No show? Wait a few hours or a day: the servers may be down. Still no show? Make a post on the forum or contact the Tech Help through the support system https://support.ndoorsgames.com/Main/Default.aspx.
b) The servers are saying Maintenance. The company is updating/repairing the servers. Nobody is able to access the servers. Just wait until the maintenance is over. Then the server buttons will be green and say Fair.
c) After I select a server the game freezes or crashes, I don't get past the server screen. Try the GoonZu.exe procedure as described in 4a. Close programs to make sure you have enough working memory.
d) The game gives an inbuffer error message and crashes/freezes/disconnects as soon as I select a server. You're probably logging in while your char is in a crowded area (Town Invasion, gathering of a lot of people or monsters). Your working memory gets overloaded and crashes. Close down unneeded programs, see if your working memory meets the requirements, wait some time and try logging in again. A good Town Invasion might take some time. If it still crashes, try again another day. Still nothing? Post on the forum or contact a GM on the support system https://support.ndoorsgames.com/Main/Default.aspx for help.

you can use that to patch, but i recommend the fix found HERE that should make it autopatch. if you choose to download the "custom" patch you need to change the install directory to "C:\NDOORS\english\luminary\download" check for that directory and if it's there just change the directory when you start the Custom setup, click install, then launch the game (it will still say 548) click OK and see what happens.

First of all, I'd like to say thanks for all of the help you are providing to us. I'm sure everyone is thankful.
Now, moving on. I am encountering problems again, yet I do not know what is wrong. In fact I do not know most of the computer-related things. I'll try to give alot of details, I am just not sure about what the problem is.
I use a Windows Vista, it's a laptop. It's an old laptop, but it still works enough for other Ijji games so I figure it should for Luminary. I've had Luminary before until school restarted and I had to stop for a while. In that time it was just a shortcut, and did not use Ijji Reactor. Right now I am encountering auto-patching errors, and I have went through the links you have posted but there is an error in it. My current version is v543. When I click it, it shows up Google. To me, it says that the link has been broken. I do not know if it is happenning to anyone else, but I cannot fix it. I've tried to do as you said, but it isn't working. Oh, one more thing. I use Ijji Reactor, I figure that makes me a Ijji user.

reactor log in problem:
I just can't seem to log on. I started Reactor, clicked Game Start. Loading mouse icon and nothing happen. No error. No game. Nothing. What should I do? I've tried restarting PC as well as re-installing the game.

i reinstall windows and reinstall lumny and the GAME STAR button still not working.
+ i dont have antivirus and no firewall . i realy dont know what to do . my ware house is going to expire x_x im going to lose 6bil in mats omg.
