I thought I should give a simple step by step guied which I follow on ALL trades that I do. IDK and IDC if it helps you or makes you get scammed as it has never once failed me and its what I use every single trade I do.

Here it goes:

1: Ask for details on the item[s] such as base attack (If equip ask if sealed)
2: Ask for there desired payment type (marbles, mats, keys, stones)
3: [Weapon/Armour only] As for proof of its existance EG: Show in trade or wear it next to you
4: SS everything and put into a folder with the trade name EG: Abel Helm Florida
5: Ask around about the person you are tradeing with, Townies/Guildies/Friends. If there reputation is bad or the player is unknown cancel the trade.
6: Agree or disagree with the payment type/cost and take half a hour thinking about the trade.
7: If you are tradeing more than 5 items in the trade, ask a Goonzu/Minister/GA/Police to hold the items for you until after the trade. They have more to lose than there position and they are normaly very well known players. But still SS the trade with them.
8: Make the trade and enjoy the item.

NEVER do any of the following:

1: Agree to giveing the items to the trader one day and getting your item the day after EG: Give me the Straw now and I give you the Belt tommorow.
2: Trust the player wouldnt try and scam your items from you. Even if you know the person they might still try a scam on you.
3: Remove the SS of the trade from your computer until a month has past as you could be labled the scamer (If your the seller of the equipment)
4: Trade with a character who has a name like jdfmnjsdkfbnbn as that is a reco of someone else and is very hard to trace.

ALWAYS do the following:

1: Use Common sence.
2: Ask around about the player.
3: SS everything.
4: Do your research. Search forum for the trade and past posts from that player. If there are alot of posts and there is information on the trade item.



I hope this gets stikied or what ever its called here but its how I trade and I want it to be read by all players who want to do a trade. This is what I clas as a warning so if I see any topics complaining about a scam then I will laugh at you. This is here for all to see and if you ignore it then so be it, im offering advice so its up to you to follow it. BTW I have never been scammed and I follow my trade EVERY time I buy anything so if you fail then its your own falt.

Please dont post any more crap about scams, it clogs the forum up

Wonderful Post (atleast alot more helpful then seeing rant forum about "___Scammers etc")
Its no wonder this forum got sticky(ed)
