I know that sounds silly but why not put a ticket for change the nickname?
I see it in many other games and will be cool if devs put this ticket in Luminary too.
obs: i dun wanna change mine nick, just need one to change my alt's nickname.

anyways, what you guys think about it?

Well, this a a serious problem I know, but if the price of this ticket be like 1500-2000 Gcoins?
Will be fair a expensive price to change your nickname.

Ummm scammers use computer, computer + internet = internet protocol (ip), GMs need just check the ip to ban or block the account. Gms and devs can check the ip in the logs of server easily, Its just want. ummmm lazy? idk...

Unless your name is Reborn or Warter, you don't need a name change.

"Well, this a a serious problem I know, but if the price of this ticket be like 1500-2000 Gcoins?"
I'd laugh if a scammer got the ticket then chenged their name, woops someones scammed out of 1500-2000 gcoins... it'll happen, lol.

"Gms and devs can check the ip in the logs"
The GM's are where at the moment? lol... The devs are... Lazy as always... They almost never check the logs for anything unless it's a major problem, aka they didn't bother checking the wallace scammers untill a month after the markets went crazy.

Basically, just pick a name you like to begin with.

Anyways, for a good environment on game, GM and Devs need to take more care about this thread.
Scammers need to be severely punished and and their IPs blocked. I know it will never end but will help to reduce the number of scammers in the server.

Oh yea cus a simple name change should delete them off your buddy list, and yea you'll never see them again!
If they were your friend they wouldn't hide. Plain and simple use common sense.

i think this is a great idea, because my name is FarmerWilbur, which was supposed to only be a farmer, but then IJJI screwed me over to where i cant access the ijji client.
so i really wanna change my name to something other than "FarmerWilbur".
i also think that like it leaves your main name and puts the nickname under it in parenthesis or something:
FarmerWilbur
(wilburII)
therefore you cannot be deleted off of the friends list, because it isnt completely changing your name.
also you could choose which name is on top and which one is on bottom:
FarmerWilbur
(wilburII)
OR
wilburII
(FarmerWilbur).
Thats just what i think of this idea

example of nick name "Talasha[nickname here]"
guild/title
it will just be a nickname but your original name will still be on someones friends lists, artisans lists or by right clicking a character, personal info, you will see the real ign. in short its only like changing yur title...

This is a good idea, it just needs a little change or revising like the goonzu or other minister will be notified that FarmerWilbur changed his name to Wheelbur. *winks <br />

It's definitely NOT a good idea. It should NEVER be implemented for any reason whatsoever. I can predict a 1000% increase in scamming cases with this feature..... No, I did not mistype that number, I really meant 1000%...

Maybe GM has to interview you to let you buy the Name change ticket? (i.e they find out info about you, past, present, etc.., why you wanna change name, things like that)

Very nice suggestion, but I still will stick to my side. It kinda gets personal when Ndoors tries to do that and there's probably a good 80% of all players who are very concerned about "privacy".

Anything that has the letters "I" and "P" will not work because there's countless of ways to bypa.ss/change it.
