Another saparated slot to hold bullets and arrows would be cool.
At the moment we need 1 hand to hold those projectiles making Gunner and Bower at the handicap and inconvinience to change weapon especially when you are in spirit mode, while other class can just easily pressing "TAB" to switch element to have better advantage over a specific elemental mobs.


at the moment a ranged have to deactivate the spirit mode, then open equipment screen and inventory screen to drag over the selected weapon.
It would really be a big difference if gunners and bowers could just press "TAB"
also reducing the risk when changing weapon when lagging you might accidentally drop your weapon.

Please do consider this as it really makes a big difference in the game play experience.

this never works for me. why? because the other weapon will take up the bullet slot instead of the current gun you are holding

Maybe becoz those people using axe and spear have no such problem so they doesnt care,
In actual fact why dont we make AXE and spear 2 handed

then only they will realised others dificulty.

Even if they make axe 2 handed, it still does not use bullets. So let that happen. I still don't care ^^ Now let say my axe eats bullets. F1 bullets,F2 mp potions,
F3 hp potions, F4 riceball. F5 my extra axe! No problem

1) maybe you are rich eating good food but I need 2 slots for food normal skewer or riceball - my digestive system, I need another slot for beef ribs/halfmoon dumpling to balance up else I fall sick easily

F1 = HP potions
F2 = MP Potions
F3 = Skewers
F4 = Beef Ribs
F5 = Bullets

normally I prefer to leave F5 blank therefore I know when my inventory is full. I have missed out of many goodies GM gives or stones due to I cant see my inventory when is full if I use up all 5 slots.

2) because the situation is now is on your advantage therefore you can talk like is fine for axe to b 2 handed when ndoors implement it probably you will start complaining.

Ok I see your problem now. But I'm not rich, I wish. ^^ I use very little magic so most of the time riceball is enough. Also I only have 1 axe, so when my element is wrong I just have to deal with it. *Dreams of a fire enchanted axe* Let's hope some dev reads this and makes you an extra bullet/arrow slot.

yes it will work but then a new problem will arise, you can no longer use the F1-F5 keys to reload bullet

Now again as far as I know each hunting ground has an element which is good to use in there but it is one element per hunting ground. So I assume that if you want to change weapons fast it is because you want to do it in combat, but this makes no sense. Why aren't you preparing yourself before you enter the hunting ground? Then you will be safe to change weapons and if it upsets you that it takes a couple of seconds to do then MMO's probably aren't the game for you.

Also I thought that no one can change any armour or weapon whilst in spirit mode, again perhaps I'm wrong.

try pirate ship, you need different elements there

I strongly agree that there should be a separate slot for bullets or arrows.

If you put arrows or bullets in the first slot, you cannot reload them using the F1-F5 keys, but you'll be able to use the Fkeys to change weapon though but when you ran out of arrows you'll have to drag them manually just to reload lol. In spirit mode it's worse, if you put arrows/bullets in the first slot you have to spirit out to reload them! waaaa plus you cant change weapons too. That's why when I go to pirate ship, I don't use spirit, and I manually drag arrows if I ran out, just so I can change element for each mob there. (Note: if there are still arrows left in the first slot and you want to reload them to 500 you need to unload the remaining arrows first then drag the arrows in the inventory to the empty slot in the equip window lol)

ehehe In pirate ship, here are my shortcut keys.. F1 for hp potions F2 for mp potions F3 for food F4 for element1 weapon and F5 for element2 weapon. Arrows manually drag = alt E, alt I, drag arrows, alt E again to close lol

There are some that want dual weapons too like if you are a bow user and you want to have death poison skill. You'll use a sword/axe first to poison then change weapon to a bow to kill it. This requires practice though ehehe.

I take it as Quantra does not go to Pirate ship often, or town invasion where random bosses are spawned so now I need to go back and take my other element weapon and go back?
not to forget during town invasion is very laggy and i strongly donot recommend dragging to change my weapons.
sometimes other just need to put themselves in other peoples shoe to understand the situation then rather talking only from their view.

Thanks for clearing that up! At least now I can understand your problem! Sorry if my words offended you, I can simply only speak from my point of view from what I understand, I will never guess at what someone else experiences or feels to do so would be wrong in my eyes and such judgement can only be made after discussing with that someone else until I understand what it is they are experiencing or feeling. You have done this yourself, Forumer, as you assume I don't do pirate ship or town invasion. You are wrong I do both but I only have one enchanted weapon. Forums are for discussion so let's do just that and explore all avenues of thought.

Now that I do understand your problem I can see that there is an issue for you guys. Something I'm still not clear on is the fear to drag n drop during lag, I thought a confirmation box appeared whenever trying to drop an item or is this not happening when there is large lag? If that is the case then yes you do have a big problem here, ofcourse no one wants to lose a ranked weapon.

Perhaps though this (the problem in general) is not a design fault but something done on purpose but possibly not thought through entirely. My simplistic thought stream for this would be a melee character is close to the monsters as they have to be to attack, therefore changing weapon needs to be swift if it has to be done. Whereas a ranged character is not so close so they have more time to change weapon than a melee person. Again this is just me voicing another perspective on the problem so please do not be offended.

Yes, melees get hit more while ranged can run away from melee mobs ehehe.

I wanted this extra slot for arrows and bullets for added ease but then it might take away the challenge/suspense lol of reloading them when the mob is getting closer hehehe.

for forumer, i would suggest dragging arrows/bullets instead of dragging the weapons.. less risk.. and you dont have to drag all the time.. only when there are no more arrows/bullets.. the problem would be the limited Fkeys but you could double click the weapon instead to equip it... that means inventory should be on normal mode

one question for melees with spirit, can you tab weapons on spirit? if you can.. thats the unfair part though for us ranged.

I just checked with my spears, I cannot tab between weapons when in spirit mode. So the spirit thing is the same for everyone. Glad to hear they made you guys problem a bit easier!
