For NDI’s 1st year anniversary, we would like players to send in their stories and journeys in Luminary! Players will write a short story (about 1-2 pages long) and can write about an adventure they had, an event that occurred, or even just write about why they like Luminary.

The event will be split into 2 categories:

1.      Short Story about the game or an adventure you had

2.      A short essay describing why you like Luminary

Submissions will be sent to luminaryevent@ndoorsinc.com with the title: Short Story Event. Stories must be sent in by May 31, 2009 at 23:59 PST.

There will be 6 winners in all! 3 for the short story category, and 3 for the essay category. Stories will be judged on creativity and originality, so try your best!

Status Reset Ticket (1x)

yes most likely. (or u dont have to tell)

my advice: anything is possible if you don't know what you're talking about. :P

ya following up alex' "joke"... can we write a horror story? cuz when I think short story, I think edgar allen poe...
or must it be a fluffy story of (for example) getting lost in raccoon lair for the first time with guild mates... or a special goonzu day when you finally made the PG you want (a dream I have often).

OH young Bardic ones...You can write whatever you want to. just make it good with a good opener, climax, and ending. Those are your three most important parts of a story.. for without either one.. you have nothing. English clas s is now in session children lol :p

Ugh, do you know how hard it is for me to write only 2 pages!? >__>

I'll tell ya something right now, my English teacher told us to write a short story like 2-3 pages... and well... I made it 6... with A LOT of stuff cut out. T__T Can it seriously be longer?! lol

I suppose I can figure it out if I'm not allowed for longer lengths. But I promise it won't be a novel if it is! xD
