| the point is that rice bought all the shares, kicked out the old people and put himself in charge, with that he made his alts heads, and even the mine building is gone.
kucha was a prosperous town before the tyrant rice got it.

| Rice is socially a jerk, but he's doing what he thinks is best right now... perhaps he's going to rebuild it differently later? or just invite his own people? I dunno.
I do know that he disliked the mine because it wasn't really being used, and he said that he might reopen it if NDI allows people to mine more than coal.
Rice is somebody I respect more than like personally. Rice also respects my analysis abilities and so we've gotten along since I was in Louhan.

| Kucha was a retired town since way back. If u wanted stability, that would be the town. It never had a problem with TC meetings, everything was set up nicely, mmm.
I was tc for a term. Saw how everyone was settled to doing the mundane afking, occ***ional hunting etc. So i decided to make it more fun, set up lot of chim and boss runs, lots of rp so the townies could at least have more chances of ranking their whatever weapons.
But nope, I did not get a "thx for making this town more lively again". Instead, was sort-of bashed for plummeting the capital (which till now I have no idea the reason why towns keep immense amounts of capital if not for townie events).
And for some oddddddd reason, Lahore decided to siege Kucha, just when all, if not most of the CO members were leaving. The reason, well, is debatable. One reason I got was to revenge for YeLLowHaZe, which brought me thinking -
1: So if kucha lost the siege, Haze would be tc again?
2: i was sure Haze did not ask for revenge because he was still in Kucha himself, so you're helping haze siege his own town at that point in time?
I was willing to defend the lost cause siege. I spoke to Haze, he said he'd get Lahore TC to cancel the siege, and even if the siege wasn't to be cancelled, from the way Haze spoke to me, it seemed to me he didn't really care if the siege was on or not. So, I decided to not logon at all. No, I'm not here trying to tell the world of my sacrifices, but I guess since someone has decided to start sweeping up dirt, now would be the time to say it from my point of view. Now I think of it, in between all these mess, Haze was TC again for a little while. It was a pity he did not care to release shares to try and salvage this situation.
Sure, we see the obvious rp spamming, demolishing of buildings to save repair costs, trying to promote the very profitable Vlad by refunding 20% of amount spent evolving. And if whoever is in Rice's shoes, with the amount he spent to get the shares (and entirely irrelevant which medium of currency he used to pay for them) would say s/he would not do what Rice is doing, I think that's entirely hypocritical. Its one thing you have shares given freely by a friend, or you decided to just transfer it to yourself from your friend's account who you are supposed to look after (think: Hamian), and another if you had to bust your bank to pay for the 1000's of them.
Anyway, my point is, what Rice is doing, is just another way of surviving in this IMselling-filled game. Plenty of ways to make marbles:
-Hunt, hunt, hunt, hunt, hunt, hunt x536363263
-Buy sell mats on mkt
-Buy sell weapons
-Shares
-Having 1 char in different towns and religiously follow the rp timings
And of course, dominating a town Rice-style. Who are we to say what is right, and what is wrong? Those are all ways to survive in this dying game anyway. I've never had a problem with Rice, and those who have spoken to him will know what kind of person he is.
Only old Kuchans would know what a beautiful town Kucha was, despite having many haters. At the same time, I've seen people saying how enviable we all were, 10 over of us, sitting near the mine building, chatting our time away, just like a close family.
All in all, I neither support nor frown upon what Kucha has become. On the other hand, I sure as hell miss the old Kucha just like all the other true extownies I'm still in contact with, thus prompting me to write this lenghty post.

| Kucha is small, but we're happy
Our townies are not an army, but we're not bashing each other on the forums lol.
I've not broken any of the new rules, nor do I intend to.
As far as kucha goes....if your not a kuchan, you can just stay on the outside and guess at the direction we're going 
I don't sit around and gossip about what your towns are doing
I also didn't do anything to the previous townies, 95% left of their own choice.....and they can sit anywhere in the game they choose and chat. I don't affect anyone ;p.
