hmm.. well, if im not mistaken, you have to wait a few days before you can appoint a new minister, so it would be impossible to make quick minister changes.

hmm.. well, if im not mistaken, you have to wait a few days before you can appoint a new minister, so it would be impossible to make quick minister changes.

On the last day of season 8, The white tiger was removed. The black tortoise was removed to see if that could hold the vacancy, and it could not. The white tiger could not be put back into the white tiger chair, but the tortoise was able to be reappointed to the tortoise chair. I know that there is a 6 month waiting period for white tiger, but the other positions don't appear to have that (black tortoise chair 100% confirmed).

hmm thats interesting... youd think it'd be the same for all the ministers.

(oh and blue dragon has a waiting period too, because thats the minister that got switched out in athena in S6, and i know we had to wait for it)

we should all elect unofficial goonzus.
and they can elect unoffical ministers.

Theyd basically be like real goonzus and ministers, but with no clothes. (yes. we finally could have naked people running this game)
And that stipulation would weed out anyone who wasn't truly devoted to doing their jobs.

Only thing that we'd have to give up would be leafs, and lets be honest... I'm sure we can all live without leafs.

now i know that that kinda looked like a half-***ed, barely serious suggestion...

because it was.

But basically what im suggesting is that instead of complaining about what the current Goonzu(s) on their respective servers are doing, maybe we should look at alternatives... Because the GMs are fully aware of everything that is happening. I know some people would like to claim that they are ignorant, or not paying attention to what they are doing, but that is simply false, cause they fully know what they are doing, and what it is causing. It is their inability to alter the situation, for whatever reasons they may have, which is the cause of the problem.

What i suggest is simply ignore the current Goonzu(s) (unless of course they begin to do a good job)
Just don't even give them any attention... Sure they may have leafs that you want, but are you really getting any anyways? Sure they may be able to give people free tele, which people want... But if you'r greedy enough to put getting free tele infront of everything else, than go ahead, your not worth the effort anyways.

I've always supported the belief that you don't need to have clothes to do the things (THE IMPORTANT THINGS) that a minister does. Just because your not Blue Dragon doesnt mean you can't host events... Just because your not a GA does not mean you cannot help new players, or even old players for that matter.

In reality, you can look at this as a great opportunity. We can now attempt to establish a Goonzu and a group of Ministers/GAs which are completely non-biased, due to the fact that there is no reward for them. The people who are willing to do such jobs without the glory of an official title, clothes, free tele, or any other benefit that is ever presented to them are the people that truly deserve to be in those positions in the first place.

So why not? we could easily make our own election in game, and we can filter out reco votes, we can filter out any unfairness that an automated system cannot detect...

Heck, if you want to be a real optimist, you could say that - if people put their hearts too it - this could be the absolute best season we've ever had, even if its not being ran by the "official" Goonzu.

There... now my suggestion doesn't sound so half-***ed.

and in a slight addition to that... say hosting this "unofficial election" isn't the greatest idea...
The main basis of my thoughts is that people should stop trying to have these new Goonzus dealt with by means with which we have little control, and instead, devote ourselves fully to the job of picking up their slack.

Lets co-operate as a people in order to have a good season, instead of worrying about whether our goonzu will provide a good season for us.

everything i just said is almost completely irrelevent to this thread, and i am in no way saying that Warter should not be punished for what he is doing, because it goes beyond just being a bad or lazy Goonzu.

Also, (yes i know, i just can't shut up)
I feel completely unfazed by this whole debacle of an election, because it really does not affect me. I can still enjoy things in this game simply by looking past anything negative that happens. Yes, i understand there is getting to be alot of problems, and eventually if this persisists, even I will begin to become angry at it, and begin to not be able to enjoy the game at all.

But right now there is still lots of good in this game, if you simply go and seek it. if you are looking at all the negatives and constantly focus on them, then your gaming experience will be of a similar nature; But seek out the good, and enjoy all the things that are still great about this game (mainly the community we have, which is amazing, and unparalleled by any other game... and trust me, i have played many many other online games, and ive never ever seen a community like this one before) and your experience can still be a very enjoyable one.

Now enough rambling.... I don't usually post much about this stuff, so i had alot to get out =.=
