Subject: Reactor + Vista = Simple mechanics...

The reason we are struggling is because IGGI is not using Vista. They are basing their game and components off of a Windows XP (I don't know this for fact though). The difference between a Vista and an XP is the sheer clickability...The Vista asks a ton of questions because they are more for the newer computer geeks..these people have no clue what they are doing so the computer asks alot of questions...USER FRIENDLY...the XP however does not have near as many safety and admin protocalls..therefor making it very easy to hack and manipulate to do whatever, whenever...

So, the reason I say this is because...when you click on an unrecognizable program that tries to connect through an unknown port using a Vista...one of two things will happen...nothing...or you will get a message saying nothing will happen...so...instead of building a secure browser based startup system (which I see no reason for)..why not have the game start on its own from the users personal computer's exe file..and then have it connect so that one...the computer can recognize the ports being used...and two..it can tell what program is being used in conjunction...making it say 'hey..are you sure you want to do this?' YES..and then connection succeeds...patch is inniciated...program is patched and runs...bingo

does it really take a high school student to tell you fools how this is done too?
making a browser based startup..is like telling someone to put on a condom with their feet...you can only get so far...if you even get close..it would be too much of a struggle to manipulate your feet correctly..causing EPIC FAIL!!

One more I forgot to add...

Why not tell us the port #'s we may need in order to connect rather than get an eroor saying "GoonZu Patcher Failed"...because everyone should know..programs run until it hits a point that cannot be executed ..the point along that path is more likely to be a blocked port (because firewalls are made to prevent ports aka doorways from being opened)..than it is to be a programming error..though the whole browser based startup is a major programming error in it of itself....if that doesn't work..I would have to see the program and run it via with a seperate software testing program to see at what point did it fail...
